Prep Rifle Team Heads to GHSA State Rifle Competition

Georgia Military College Prep Rifle Team wins over Hephzibah High School 1104-1043. Caroline Hooks led her team with a 100 Prone,90 standing and 95 kneeling for a score of 285. John Bethea had a 99 prone, 90 standing, 94 kneeling for a 283. Cameron Lowe had a 100 prone, 72 standing and 92 kneeling for a score of 264. T.J. Curtis had a score of 97 prone, 81 standing, 94 kneeling for a score of 272. This is the first time two GMC shooters have had a perfect score of 100 during competition. The Georgia High School Association Three-position Air Rifle State Championship will be held April 2, 2011. The competition will take place at the Pool International Shooting Complex 10 Meter Range at Ft. Benning, Georgia. The competition is open to the public.
