Military Ball

Submitted by: Cadet Captain Teala Watson

The Georgia Military College Department of Military Science recently held this year’s annual Military Ball at the Milledgeville Country Club on May 6, 2006. With just over 100 Cadets attending, the event was marked as wonderful evening to remember.

The ball began with the formal receiving line, and continued with traditional military customs and rituals, a buffet dinner, and an awards ceremony.

The evening concluded with a benediction, the playing of the Army Song, and dancing into the late hours of Saturday night.
