We have plans to provide extensions and support for those affected with the goal of completing the term. Your safety and well-being are our top priorities, and we’ll be flexible and supportive as we move forward. For those who cannot make it to campus, GMC will make every effort to work with you individually. Additionally, we are closely monitoring the development and potential impact of Hurricane Milton. At this time, the storm’s path is being tracked carefully, and there is no immediate cause for alarm in our area. Mighty Minerals

Georgia Military College middle school students recently learned about “Mighty Minerals.” The students had three weeks to complete their project – to create an advertisement for a mineral of their choice. The advertisement had to include a slogan describing one or more of the mineral’s important uses and a colorful picture or cartoon character that related to the slogan. Upon turning in their projects, the students then critiqued each others’ work by leaving comments on post-it notes. Maj. Emily Fairbrass said her students did a fantastic job and she was very proud of their efforts. Pictures of some of the projects follow.
