GMC welcomes new class
September 7, 2011 GMC welcomes new class From staff reports The Union-Recorder The Union-Recorder Wed Sep 07, 2011, 08:38 PM EDT MILLEDGEVILLE — Incoming freshmen cadets from across the United States and around the world flooded Georgia Military College campus Wednesday to be welcomed into the junior college as members of the 133rd Corps of Cadets during the Super Wednesday annual event. The event kicked off at 9 a.m. as students began processing in the mini-gym of Cordell Events Center to make their rounds to various tables to meet and greet representatives from campus clubs, student activities, admissions and military science. Local banking institutions, churches, organizations and area businesses also provided information about their services and offered handouts and invitations.
