GMC presents ‘The Trip to Bountiful’ Saturday

GMC presents ‘The Trip to Bountiful’ Saturday Vaishali Patel The Union-Recorder The Union-Recorder Thu Oct 31, 2013, 09:00 AM EDT MILLEDGEVILLE — Georgia Military College’s Drama Club rehearsed their lines Wednesday afternoon for their upcoming presentation of “The Trip to Bountiful,” a play by Horton Foote. The audience will be taken along the journey of an elderly woman, Carrie Watts, who is determined to visit her hometown, but feels trapped from her overprotective son and domineering daughter-in-law. Watts outwits the duo and sets out to return home to Bountiful. The show is slated at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Goldstein Center for the Performing Arts. The public is invited and admission is free.
