School of Nursing Master of Science in Nursing The Master of Science in Nursing program prepares professional nurses for advanced practice as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) (with concentrations in gerontology or oncology), Nurse Practitioner (NP) (with specializations in adult health or pediatric health), or Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) (which serves as a basis for doctoral study).
