Hello and Welcome to the Georgia Military College – Augusta Financial Aid Webpage!
The Financial Aid Office’s primary role is to provide financial assistance to those who qualify. An affordable education is our goal and we are here to provide you with the necessary information to locate and secure available funding. We are aware that financial aid can make a substantial difference in a student's success from the first term of enrollment through graduation. Because the majority of financial assistance comes from the federal student aid programs; filing and completing the FAFSA (www.fafsa.ed.gov) is one of the most important steps you can take each year.
Our preferred means of communication is email. If office visits are convenient for you, you are always welcome to stop by. For any financial aid related questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. If you do not have plans of using financial aid, or if your financial awards will not cover your total tuition costs, please reach out to the Business Office at email@example.com. They will be happy to answer questions about payments and/or payment plans.

The GMC Augusta campus is proud to offer scholarships. Please check your student email the first week of every quarter on updated scholarship information.
Financial Aid Deadlines:
The financial aid deadline for each quarter means ALL financial aid documents must be received by the deadline date to ensure your expected financial aid is in place prior to the quarter’s start date. After you have submitted the FAFSA, you may be selected for a process called verification (by the federal processors). If you are selected for verification, the requested documents must be submitted prior to the deadline in order for a complete review to be done prior to awarding. Once verification documents are received and reviewed, other documents may be requested. It is very important to start the FAFSA process early enough to ensure your financial aid package is ready for you on time.
