Step 2: Apply with Georgia Military College
Complete the VA Request for Certification form.
- This form is required once per academic year for all new, transfer, and returning students. If you are a returning student and you have had a break in enrollment, the form is required again upon your return.
- If you have previously used your VA educational benefits at another institution, you must complete the Request for Change of Program or Place of Training and submit it to GMC. Chapter 35 students using Dependents Educational Assistance may download the Request for Change of Program or Place of Training Survivors' and Dependents' Education Assistance form.
Special Note: If you transfer from one GMC campus to another campus or to the online campus, you must submit the Request for Certification and the appropriate Change of Program or Place of Training form (both above) to your new campus.
