GMC’s Chaplain, Reverend David Luke, has a new title. On Tuesday, March 7, COL Ralph Kauzlarich, Executive Director, Milledgeville Campus Corps of Cadets promoted him to GMC Major.  He currently serves as the Chaplain for the Corps of Cadets at the Milledgeville campus.

“This is an awesome privilege,” said Chaplain (GMC Major) David Luke. “It’s one of the highlights of my ministry and one of the privileges that I consider to be honored as the Chaplain for GMC.”

Rev. Luke has served as GMC’s Chaplain for nearly a year and has been affiliated with GMC’s Corps of Cadets for several years. As the Chaplain, Rev. Luke gives members of GMC’s cadet corps inspiration as they train and prepare to serve our country.

“In my heart they are young people striving to do something that many young people can’t even fathom in their mind,” said Luke. “It’s a privilege that I am a part of that process with Lt. Gen. William B. Caldwell, IV, and COL Ralph Kauzlarich. Every person needs a faith base and I offer that faith and spiritual base to the students for every religion in our country.”

Rev. Luke also serves as the pastor at Flipper Chapel A.M.E. Church in Milledgeville, Georgia.
