Other cadets at GMC may still be called upon to support this operation to include 4th Battalion Commander Alex Garvin. Garvin’s grandparents, Martha and Bobby Alvin, evacuated from their home near Savannah with the help of their grandson.  Garvin paid for his grandparents to stay in a hotel just 10-minutes away from GMC’s Milledgeville campus.
