GMC cadets sweep awards at annual Bulldog Invitational Raider Challenge

JROTC Cadets at Georgia Military College’s (GMC) Prep School ranked 1st in all awards at the 2nd annual GMC Bulldog Invitational Raider Challenge. 9-high schools participated in the invitational meet for Middle and South Georgia Raider teams on Saturday, September 24, at GMC.

A Raider competition or “Raiders” as it is more commonly known is a very popular athletic competition held within high school JROTC programs around the United States. The Raider competition had five events consisting of a Team Run, Obstacle Course, Gauntlet, Cross Country Rescue, and a Rope Bridge.

GMC’s Raider team is gearing up for their state meet on October 29, at Spalding High School and national meet November 5-6, in Molena, Georgia.
