GMC Augusta to Donate to the 'Cinderella Project'

GEORGIA MILITARY COLLEGE AUGUSTA TO DONATE TO THE ‘CINDERELLA PROJECT’
Community involvement club is accepting donations for upcoming charity event

The community involvement club of Georgia Military College’s (GMC) Augusta campus is actively promoting The South Carolina Bar’s “Cinderella Project”. Donations are being accepted in the campus admissions office until Wednesday, February 25th.

This project gives local high school students that cannot afford prom attire the opportunity to get free prom dresses, shoes, jewelry and more. The community involvement club of GMC is currently accepting donations for this cause.

The club members have solicited donations from students, faculty, staff, and local community members. So far, they have received over fifty dresses to donate and hope to receive more. Local residents can visit the Augusta campus to donate gently used dresses, bags, shoes, or any other prom accessory.
