Kevin Myers invited to join Ga Tech National Society of Collegiate Scholars

C/CPT Kevin Myers was recently invited and joined the Georgia Institute of Technology’s chapter of The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) It is a small group of elite students on campus whose academic performance has earned them the privilege of membership in The National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Less than 10 percent of students at Georgia Tech receive this honor each year. With his acceptance, Kevin becomes a member of a prestigious group of students and alumni nationwide, which includes more than a dozen Rhodes Scholars and nearly 200 Fulbright Scholars. The NSCS is a premier honor society, which invites high-achieving first- and second-year undergraduates while recognizing and rewarding its members throughout their lifetime. NSCS has more than 300 chapters, including the University of Pennsylvania, Cornell University, Rice University, the University of Michigan, and the University of California, Los Angeles. Kevin is a senior at Georgia Military College Prep School. He is currently enrolled on line with the university and will be on Georgia Tech’s campus in the fall. He is the son of Charles and Lisa Myers of Gray and Selena and Jay Maldanado of Milledgeville.
