Prep NHS supports CHIP program

Members of the Georgia Military College Prep School National Honor Society recently gave support to the Georgia CHIP (Child Identification Program), sponsored by the Georgia Masons from Benevolent Lodge #3 of Milledgeville. The CHIP program is a free service open to the community which provides parents or guardians a packet of useful items including digital fingerprints, a data sheet, a recorded interview, still photos and a saliva DNA swab, all of which are compatible with the Amber Alert system. During the day-long event held October 30 at Lakeside Baptist Church, 83 children were processed.
