Alyssa Williams awarded Ramsey Scholarship

Alyssa Williams was recently awarded the $1,000 Plantation Pipe Line Scholarship Fund-Ramsey Scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic year. Alyssa is a 2011 graduate of GMC Prep, where her activities and honors included, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, Distinguished Order of the Servant Leader Award for over 100 hours of community service, GMC Marching and Jazz Band, Varsity Tennis, and Dual Enrollment student at GMC Junior College her senior year. She plans to attend GMC Junior College in the fall and major in nursing. Alyssa is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Doug Williams of Eatonton. In 1991, Plantation Pipe Line Company established an endowed scholarship fund in memory and in honor of its executives who served the Georgia Independent College Association’s (formerly The Georgia Foundation for Independent Colleges) cause.
