Kerem Daser Accepts Soccer Head Coaching Position

The men’s and women’s soccer programs at Georgia Military College took a big stride forward with the hiring of Kerem Daser as their head coach. “Kerem Daser brings an unbelievable level of experience and success as a coach to Georgia Military College. We were excited to be able to bring him on board and we eagerly look forward to seeing where he can take our soccer program,” commented GMC Athletic Director Bert Williams. Kerem Daser brings a track record of success in division one soccer as well a strong record of player development and community involvement. He comes to GMC from Georgia State University, where he was the head coach for the last ten years of the men’s program. While head coach at Georgia State University, he developed 28 All-Conference players, 65 All-Academic honorees, and 4 players who became professional soccer players while finishing in the top ten regionally in 5 of ten years. Prior to that, he was assistant coach for several years at GC&SU and for one year at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has also been a senior staff coach of the North Carolina Olympic Development Program for 5 years and part of the Georgia Olympic Development Program since 1997. Coach Daser also brings very strong international ties to the GMC soccer program and a commitment to community involvement. “Kerem will do a great job building a foundation of success in our soccer programs as well as being a positive influence on the development of the game in our community. I am looking forward to him joining the GMC Family!” commented Coach Williams.
