WR's Michelle May Receives Coca-Cola Scholarship

Michelle May, a Georgia Military College student in Warner Robins has been awarded a scholarship from the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation. Ms. May received $1,000 in recognition of her demonstrated academic success and participation in community service within the past 12 months. Through the Coca-Cola Two-Year Colleges Scholarship Program, the Foundation awards a total of 400 scholarships annually to students attending higher-education institutions granting two-year degrees. “The Coca-Cola Two-Year Colleges Scholarship Program honors students who often balance responsibilities of school, work and family, but also find time to give back to their communities through volunteer service,” said J. Mark Davis, President of the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation Now in its 9th year of funding the Coca-Cola Two-Year Colleges Scholarship Program, the Foundation has provided $3.7 million in scholarship awards to students attending two-year degree granting institutions, like Georgia Military College.
