Rick came to Gwynedd-Mercy College in March 2005. Originally from Waltham, Massachusetts, Rick attended Waltham Senior High School, earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Chemistry and a Master of Science degree in Education from Alfred University, New York. Rick has served in the field of Residence Life at Alfred State College, West Chester University, Villanova University and Temple University. Rick is married and has three sons in the college, high school and middle school levels. During his spare time, Rick enjoys creating ‘new ideas and innovations’ and cheering on his beloved Boston Red Sox! |

Lori Davis began working in the Office of Resident Life in the spring of 2003. She previously worked for 17 years as an administrative assistant at the Lansdale Presbyterian Church where she has also been active in their choir, handbell choir, taught Sunday School and worked with the Junior High Youth Group. Lori loves working with the students at GMC and getting to know them on a personal level. In her free time she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

Christopher has served as the Associate Director of Resident Life since January 2007. Prior to joining the team at Gwynedd, Christopher came from Titusville, PA and attended Titusville High School. Christopher went on to earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Ministries and a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education both from Geneva College, where he also served as a Resident Assistant. Before starting his career at Gwynedd-Mercy, Christopher was a Resident Director/Director of Intramurals at Waynesburg University, Resident Director at Temple University and most recently a Complex Director at The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. When time allows, Christopher enjoys hiking, fishing, golfing, photography, music, all sports; especially the Philadelphia Phillies and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Both Christopher and his wife Anna reside close to GMC with their 22lb. cat Calvin. |

John began working for the Office of Resident Life as the Resident Director for Loyola and Alexandria Hall in July 2005. Originally from Morton, PA, John attended Cardinal O’Hara High School. John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Cabrini College where he served as a Resident Assistant for 2 years. John also earned his Master of Education degree in Post-Secondary Education from Salisbury University, MD., where he served as a graduate Resident Director for 2 years. In his free time, John enjoys visiting family and friends, going to the beach, traveling, reading, singing as a cantor and in the choir at Our Lady of Perpetual Help parish in Morton, PA and also singing with the Voices of Gwynedd. |

Jennifer joined the Resident Life staff in June 2005 as the Residential Staff Supervisor. Prior to joining the GMC staff, Jennifer attended Canfield High School in her hometown of Youngstown, Ohio. Jennifer also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and minored in International Studies from Arcadia University, PA, where she also served as a Resident Assistant. Currently, Jennifer is pursing a Master’s degree in School Counseling here at Gwynedd-Mercy College. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys hiking, reading, watching movies, shopping for deals, the beach, traveling and visiting friends and family. Jennifer especially enjoys visiting her nieces Giada and Eliana and nephew Massimo who reside in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia. Jennifer currently supervises the 12 resident assistants in Loyola, St. Brigid and Siena Hall and works very close with the FYE Residential program, her office is located on the first floor of Loyola Hall, come visit! |

Patrick joined the GMC Resident Life team in January of 2007. Patrick is originally from Levittown, PA and attended Conwell-Egan Catholic High School. Patrick earned a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Temple University, PA, where he also served as a Resident Assistant for 3 years. After graduating from Temple, Patrick accepted a Resident Director position at Georgetown University in Washington, DC from 2004-2006. During his spare time, Patrick enjoys traveling, attending concerts and theater and doing volunteer work. Patrick is currently the Resident Director for Alexandria Hall and Treweryn House and is also an advisor to the Residence Hall Association (RHA). Kimberly Smith
Community Education Supervisor (CES)

Kim is the Community Education Supervisor for the Office of Resident Life. Originally from South Philadelphia, Kim is one of four children. Kim is a graduate of St. Maria Goretti Catholic High School and is pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education here at GMC. Prior to becoming the CES, Kim was a Resident Assistant for Alexandria Hall for 1.5 years. During her time in Resident Life, Kim has won the FROG Award and Work Study of the Month Award in March 2007. During her spare time, Kim enjoys photography, music, scrap-booking or anything art related. As the CES, Kim works very closely with the Associate Director of Resident Life for Staff Development and Training to provide programming for the Resident Assistants and the First-Year Experience (FYE) Residential Initiative. |
