Christine came to Gwynedd-Mercy College in August of 2004, having served for 11 years as the Associate Director of the Newman Center (Catholic Campus Ministry) at West Chester University. She has a master's degree in Pastoral Ministry from Boston College , and a bachelor's in Theology and English from St. Joseph 's University. Her background also includes full-time volunteer work in a house of hospitality for homeless people, and a year of training as a hospital chaplain. Beyond GMC, Christine gives retreats, talks and workshops on a variety of spiritual topics, cantors at St. Vincent DePaul Parish in Germantown, and serves on the staff of the annual Campus Ministry Leadership Institute, for which she will be Director in 2013-15. The warmer months find her in her backyard garden in Jenkintown, finding God in vegetables, flowers, and weeds.

Father John came to GMC in 2001 to serve the community as Chaplain and campus minister. He is a Redemptorist priest whose ministerial background includes parish ministry, retreat work, spiritual direction, pastoral counseling and psychotherapy. Father John obtained master's degrees in Religious Education (MRE) and Divinity (M Div) during seminary studies and completed a master's program in clinical social work (MSW) after ordination. In his spare time John enjoys the ocean, playing golf, and rooting for his hometown Boston Red Sox!

Megan arrived at GMC at the end of July, 2012, having completed her graduate studies in theology and pastoral ministry at Villanova University, where she served as a resident minister in a freshman residence hall for two years as part of a campus ministry internship program. Megan's previous work experience includes Response-Ability in Rosemont, the Romero Center in Camden, Covenant House in Philly, and a volunteer year with JVC: Northwest in Seattle. She has participated in and led many service immersion trips, both domestic and international, and is eager to bring her passion for justice and service to the Gwynedd-Mercy community.

Renee began the masters program in school counseling at GMC in the fall of 2011, and jumped right in as our graduate assistant at the same time. A graduate of East Stroudsburg University, Renee works by day as a case manager at Northwestern Human Services in Langhorne, balancing work, school, and GA responsibilities while making it look easy!

Michelle France

Michelle came to Gwynedd-Mercy College in August of 2003 as our Sunday Pastoral Musician. Michelle has been the full-time campus minister at the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur in Villanova , PA since 1989. She has been "wrapped in Mercy" her whole life long having been taught by the Sisters of Mercy as a child, having walked the vowed life with them for 13 years (1976-1989) and presently as an Associate in Mercy since 1994. Mercy drew her to GMC. Michelle has a Masters in Pastoral Studies (MPS) from the Institute of Pastoral Studies at Loyola University of Chicago . After graduating from IPS in 1989, Michelle was part of the IPS Summer Liturgy Team (1989-1995). Liturgy and life are inseparable to Michelle and she considers her GMC community a blessing in her life.
