Academic Resource Center » Make an Apointment

Making an appointment at the ARC is simple. You may choose one of the following options:

  • Call us at x370 or from off campus 267-448-1370 to schedule an appointment.
  • Stop by and sign up for an appointment. Appointment sheets are available at the greeter’s desk at the entrance to the ARC on the second floor of the Lourdes Library building.

Walk-in Tutorials

We also welcome walk-in visitors. However, we would like to caution visitors that tutors often have pre-scheduled appointments and may not be available immediately. Please ask the greeter or another staff member when the tutor with whom you wish to meet will have an open session.

Length of Appointments

Tutorials vary depending on the assignment and the visitor’s needs. We schedule tutorials for half-hour or hour sessions. If an assignment is particularly long (more than 8 pages), please make several appointments in advance. If your time is limited, please indicate that to your tutor when your session begins.

Regularly Scheduled Appointments

The Academic Resource Center offers visitors the opportunity to schedule periodic tutoring sessions. If you would like to schedule a regular appointment (e.g.: weekly, bi-weekly, etc.) for a particular subject and/or with a particular tutor, please see Stephanie Alderfer.

Students that make a regularly scheduled appointment, for instance weekly, and do not show up for that appointment two weeks in a row, will automatically be removed from the schedule for the remainder of the semester so that other students can be accommodated.
