Abington Memorial Hospital Graduates Four

At the Abington Memorial Hospital School of Radiologic Technology graduation on Aug. 11, four Gwynedd-Mercy College students received degrees. Renee Elliot, Heather Kozin, Sandra Peale and Lauren Rozar all earned their bachelor’s of science. Rozar took home the “Clinical Excellence Award”, which is voted upon by radiographers at three hospital facilities: Doylestown Hospital, Abington Memorial Hospital and Chestnut Hill Hospital.

Continuing the trend of Gwynedd-Mercy College accomplishments, Kathleen Miller ’07, won the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology’s Award for Excellence for Outstanding Performance as a clinical educator. Upon graduation from GMC, she was immediately hired by Abington Memorial Hospital. Her professionalism helped land this marquee achievement, which is voted on by students. Miller is highly regarded by peers and her students.
