News and Announcements - September 2008 GWYNEDD-MERCY COLLEGE CHOIR SINGS AT EAGLE’S GAME
Gwynedd Valley, Pa. (September 25, 2008) – The 100-member choir at Gwynedd-Mercy College, Voices of Gwynedd, was chosen to perform the national anthem at a Philadelphia Eagle’s preseason game on Aug. 14. More than 100 groups and individuals auditioned for the honor of performing for millions, and out of those, 25 finalists were selected. The Voices of Gwynedd were one of only three winners chosen to sing the “Star Spangled Banner” on the field.
