Computer Hardware Life Cycle Policy
Software acquisition and licensing
GMC Essential Applications:
PowerCampus: Licensed by the College. New users must be approved and complete an access form through the Administrative Computing group in the IT department.
Self Service: A web service of the PowerCAMPUS system. All registered student and faculty Gwynedd-Mercy College account holders can access the Self Service system.
Great Plains: Licensed by the College. New users must be approved and complete an access form through the Administrative Computing group in the IT department.
PowerFAIDS: Licensed by the College. New users must be approved and complete an access form through the Administrative Computing group in the IT department.
BlackBoard: Students and Faculty who have a Gwynedd-Mercy College account are permitted access. Students who enroll in classes using BlackBoard are permitted access.
E-mail and Webmail: All Gwynedd-Mercy College students, faculty and staff are assigned an e-mail account. E-mail is the official form of communication of Gwynedd-Mercy College.
Faculty Staff Intranet: Faculty and staff access only. Access is determined by department.
GMC Calendar: Calendar users are assigned by department. Users must complete a form to obtain access.
GMC Card Swipe System (Meal, Bookstore, Building Access)
Limited licensing. Licenses are distributed based on need. All students, faculty and staff can use the purchase feature of the GMCID card by activating the purchase card at the Bursar office in Campbell Hall.
Journey Ed Software purchase Program for personal use
Students, faculty and staff can visit the Journey Ed website to make personal purchases.
Dell Computer Purchase Program for personal use
Students, faculty and staff can visit the Dell University website to make personal purchases.
