WAYS TO GIVE
The type of gift you wish to make to Gwynedd-Mercy College will determine the techniques and special tax and financial benefits available to you. The College accepts cash, securities and gifts of property to name just a few of the many different ways to make a gift. A gift of cash or other assets will generate an immediate charitable tax deduction. The College puts this kind of gift to work immediately in support of the program you choose. If you have assets that you would like to give but depend on for income, then you may prefer to make a deferred gift. Deferred gifts allow you to make your commitment while providing income for yourself or others. Endowments allow for the donor to establish a permanent source of funds at the College, typically named for the donor or a donor's loved one. Such funds blend the donor's vision with the needs and objectives of Gwynedd-Mercy College. Gifts can become part of the general College endowment and provide long-term support for many academic initiatives. You may also designate your gift to be used immediately in support of the area of your choice. Undesignated gifts are especially welcome because they can be used for emergency student support. The College's advancement professionals will work with you to closely and confidentially ensure that your gift achieves your individual philanthropic goals and expresses your personal vision for Gwynedd-Mercy College.
