On September 10, Gwynedd-Mercy College held its 21st Annual Golf Tournament at Old York Road Country Club in Spring House, Pa.  The naming sponsors of the tournament were Keystone Mercy Health Plan and Peter Carlino. Friends and business partners of the college enjoyed lunch and a beautiful day on the course. The day ended with dinner and an awards ceremony.  This annual outing benefits the Annual Fund, which supports academic programs, increases resources for financial aid and furthers the mission of Gwynedd-Mercy College. This year, proceeds from the golf outing amounted to $71,050, a record amount for the annual event and an increase of $2,840 from the previous year. 

The 22nd Annual Golf Tournament will be held once again at Old York Road Country Club on September 8, 2008.

Corporate Reception

Corporations, foundations and other friends of GMC were honored for their support of the College at the Corporate Reception on Thursday, January 10, 2008 in Assumption Hall.  The reception, sponsored by Commerce Bank, provided an evening of inspiration for all who attended as GMC students Christine Devine and Sean Middleton shared stories about how donor assistance has broadened their horizons and those of their peers.
