Lead Based Paint Awareness
Gwynedd-Mercy College recognizes our responsibility to educate and notify any occupants on campus of the potential of lead-based paint or other materials located in housing built before 1978. The Environmental Safety Office provides the following facts sheet and pamphlets as required by the EPA and OSHA. Asbestos Removal Program
The Gwynedd-Mercy Physical Plant is actively addressing the removal of all asbestos located on campus. Many buildings built before the mid 1970's contain asbestos products and because our college was founded in 1948, some buildings may contain these materials. To this date, a substantial effort by our Physical Plant has been made to remove much of these asbestos containing materials.
