At Gwynedd-Mercy College, our Biological Safety Program is directed toward ensuring the safe and proper use of biological materials as well as providing education on the disposal of biological waste generated and the usage of proper personal protective equipment (PPE). It is important that our work practices are in compliance with the federal and state regulations and that the laboratories are equipped with the proper materials to allow students, staff, and faculty to work safely with known and potential biological hazards.
