Faculty Biography
Patricia A. Scott is an assistant professor in the School of Allied Health Professions and clinical coordinator for the cardiovascular technology program at GMC. She has been a member of the GMC faculty since 1999. She teaches courses on cardiac pathophysiology, invasive cardiovascular technology, invasive cardiology clinical rotation and cardiac invasive clinicals, in addition to peer mentoring the cardiovascular technology students. She earned her associate degree in cardiovascular technology, her bachelor’s degree in health sciences education and her masters’ degree in science education from GMC. She is a member of the Society of Invasive Cardiovascular Professionals and the Cardiovascular Credentialing International. Professor Scott is also a certified CPR instructor, registered cardiovascular invasive specialist and is certified in advanced cardiac life support. |
