At nearly 15,000 members strong, the GMC Alumni Association's strongest asset is its people. As such, members are invited to take an active part in the various alumni efforts by volunteering their time and talents in a number of ways. For more information on how you can become involved, call the office of Alumni Relations at 215-641-5554 or e-mail Tony D'Orazio at dorazio.t@gmc.edu. Class Agents: Class agents are alumni volunteers for the Office of Institutional advancement who work as the lead fundraising liaisons between the College and their classmates. Personal contacts from the class agents are vital in bonding alumni together and with the extended GMC family. Such individualized, person-to-person connections are key to the vitality of the success of the Annual Fund and the Alumni Association. Career Mentors: Network with other professionals and mentor new graduates interested in your field. Your common experiences as former students of GMC can provide the foundation for professional growth and collaboration. Alumni Ambassadors for Admissions: Participants in the Admissions Alumni Ambassador program include distinguished alumni, like you, who wish to assist the Admissions Office with recruiting new students. Ambassadors may attend college fairs in their home towns, correspond with prospective students, and participate in Admissions events held on campus. To get involved, contact Tony D'Orazio at 215-641-5554 or dorazio.t@gmc.edu. Event Planners and Assistants: Over the course of the year, alumni gather at Homecoming, concert events, cocktail parties and reunions. Assisting with the planning and execution of such events is a fun way for you to get involved with GMC. Young Alumni Connection: More than 60% of the alumni population is under the age of 40. This group is designed to bring together young (and young-at-heart) members of the Alumni Association for events, programming and other efforts that appeal to them!
