At GMC, you will find even more than an engaging curriculum, friendly (but challenging) guidance on top of community service programs that will inspire you. "I would say that the service programs here are life-changing," says psychology major, Quinny Moore.

And there are many other life-changing opportunities built into the curriculum at Gwynedd-Mercy College.. For instance, in some of our programs, you can gain access to valuable professional experience.

You will also discover how to focus your strengths and apply your inspiration out in the real world. Take it from Jennifer Rothenheber, a transfer student who gained real nursing experience during her very first semester at GMC. “I learned how much I love being out in the field,” says Jennifer.

At GMC, we offer more than 40 academic programs that prepare you to serve as leaders in professions of increasing demand and societal importance. In fact, many of our majors include professional experience in the program and GMC maintains relationships with nearby hospitals and health care facilities, school districts, life sciences companies, and a wide variety of businesses.

Biology major, Laura Howell found her pre-med internship at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, where she shadowed doctors and witnessed surgeries. “I pretty much saw everything!”

With a robust service program and deeply supportive faculty and staff, GMC’s students benefit from a close-knit community in which they can focus on building their future. As radiation therapy major, Michael Brown puts it, “I don’t know of many other schools that mention compassion in their core values.”

A Quick Guide to the Admission Process

The selection of candidates is made by the Admissions Committee whose decision is based on an evaluation of the qualifications of each applicant for a particular program of study. The student is notified of the action of the Committee as soon as possible after the applicant’s completed file is reviewed.
