Federal and State Grant ProgramsPLEASE NOTE: Students who have earned a bachelor's degree are not eligible for federal, state or college scholarships and grants. Federal Grant ProgramsFederal Pell GrantThe Pell Grant is a federal aid program which provides grants ranging in amount from $400 to $5,550, depending on the student's eligibility as determined by federal methodology. To receive consideration, the student must be enrolled for a minimum of three credits per semester in a degree or certificate program. Since the Federal Pell Grant is the foundation of all financial aid, all aid applicants are required to apply for this Grant. The Student Financial Aid Committee will develop the financial aid package with the appropriate Pell Grant expectation. Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)

Veterans who satisfy all other PHEAA eligibility requirements may be entitled to a full ($3,600) state grant. The state grant is the floor of financial aid and all aid applicants are required to apply for this type of assistance. The financial aid package will be developed with the appropriate state grant expectation. FILING DEADLINE: May 1 of each year (prior to the start of the fall term). Delaware, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont, and West Virginia offer state grants for their residents who are studying in another state.
