Information for Accepted Undergraduate Students at Gwynedd Mercy University
Congratulations! You’ve been accepted to Gwynedd Mercy University.
Follow these simple steps to become a Gwynedd Mercy University student:
Submit a tuition deposit of $125 ($500 if you have been accepted to our weekend nursing program) by May 1, 2014 for Fall 2014 applicants or as soon as possible for Spring 2014 applicants. If you are interested in on-campus housing, an additional $250 housing deposit must be submitted.

Apply for Financial Aid - Spring 2014 Instructions
If you plan to apply for financial aid you should complete the 2013-2014 Free
Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible. It is helpful to have your 2012 Federal Tax Return completed before completing the FAFSA. If this is not possible, provide your best estimate of 2012 financial data.
The completed application should be submitted to the Financial Aid Office, 1325 Sumneytown Pike, P.O. Box 901, Gwynedd Valley, PA 19437-0901.
Apply for Financial Aid - Fall 2014 Instructions
If you plan to apply for financial aid you should complete the 2014-2015 Free
Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible after January 1, 2014. It is helpful to have your 2013 Federal Tax Return completed before completing the FAFSA. If this is not possible, provide your best estimate of 2013 financial data.
The completed application should be submitted to the Financial Aid Office, 1325 Sumneytown Pike, P.O. Box 901, Gwynedd Valley, PA 19437-0901. Gwynedd-Mercy’s priority filing date is March 15, 2014. Applications are, however, received on a rolling basis.
Take Your Placement Assessment
As part of the admissions process you must take an English and math placement assessment before you can register for classes. The results of the test will assist you and your advisor in scheduling and registering for required English and math classes.
You do not need to take the English Placement Assessment if you:
Attained a score of at least three (3) on the Advanced Placement English exam in high school, or
Received an SAT critical reading score of 650 or more, or
Successfully completed a College English course (with a grade C or better)
You do not need to take the Math Placement Assessment if you:
Attained a score of at least three (3) on the Advanced Placement calculus or statistics exams in high school, or
Received an SAT math score of 650 or more, or
Successfully completed a college level math course (with a grade C or better)

Register for Classes
If you are a Spring applicant, the process will begin in November. If you are a Fall applicant, the process will begin after April 1. You may contact the Admissions Office at 215-641-5510 or email@example.com for more information.
Obtain your Student ID Card
Students are required to have a Student ID Card. Photos are taken at the Campbell Solution Center any time Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., or Friday, 8 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. If you are on campus feel free to stop by to have your picture taken and avoid the lines the first week of the semester. Obtain your Parking Pass
Any student who parks a car on campus must purchase a hangtag parking decal . Parking decals can be purchased at the Campbell Solution Center. Parking hangtags cost $45 for Commuter Students and $75 for Resident Students for the academic year.

Complete Your Health Form
Submit your completed health form as soon as possible for Spring 2014 applicants and no sooner than April 1 for Fall 2014 applicants (Required of full-time students only). Find more information on our Health & Wellness Center page.
