Admissions Requirements
- A completed online application. Apply at http://www.gmc.edu/admissions/graduate-students.html.
- Two references from professional nurses.
- A personal statement of your advanced practice nursing goals.
- Official transcripts from ALL colleges/universities attended.
- A basic undergraduate Statistics course equivalent to (3) semester hours is required.
- A Physical Assessment course equivalent to (2) semester hours is required.
- Applicants without these required pre-requisites courses MUST complete them either at Gwynedd-Mercy College or another institution prior to beginning the graduate programs.
- Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or the Miller Analogies Test (MAT).
- (This requirement is waived for applicants who earned a cumulative average of 3.6 or better in their undergraduate nursing program).

- A copy of your valid RN license
- A copy of your current professional liability insurance.
- Applicants with an active RN license and a bachelor’s degree in another field (i.e., not nursing) are required to take and pass the National League of Nursing Baccalaureate Achievement (NLN) exam.
- Personal interview with School of Nursing faculty member.
