Lending Library

One of the goals of the Autism Institute is to make educational and assessment materials in the field of autism available to students within the programs of the College, as well as the community at large. The lending library is housed in Gwynedd-Mercy College’s Lourdes Library.

Family Support

For many years, the College has connected families with students to serve in the roles of:

• Verbal behavior trainers
• Therapeutic support staff
• Wraparound personnel
• Childcare providers

Social Programs

Gwynedd-Mercy College has long maintained an outstanding reputation for providing social programs for individuals with challenges. These programs, in which individuals in the community engage in activities utilizing both physical and human resources of the College, include:

• Adult Services
• Harmony Theater
• Best Buddies
• Touch of Tennis

The Autism Institute plans to expand existing programs to include appropriate therapeutic support from college students to persons on the autism spectrum.
