Many have found the answer to this question in Gwynedd-Mercy College's Business Education Certification Program, combining business classes with teacher certification. If you have earned a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, you could begin teaching sooner than you think. The College works closely with the Pennsylvania Department of Education in issuing an Intern Certificate to qualified individuals that allows you to begin teaching before you finish all of your certification requirements. Our internship program is one of the largest in the Commonwealth.
