School of Business & Center for Lifelong Learning Message from the Dean... Welcome to the School of Business. We are committed to a twenty-first century curriculum. Simply put, a global network of well-educated, imaginative and innovative people who approach their work with a spirit of adventure is the most precious and powerful force in the world. We are dedicated to being agile at a high level of quality. Therefore, we look to revise our curriculum and to design courses that are contemporary. We are also committed to having a love affair with technology. Our aim is to infuse technology into our curriculum so that our students are prepared for the creative use of technology in their personal and professional lives. We know that our young citizens come to us with new demands that reflect the realities of a globally networked community and a rapidly accelerating era of change. We are continuously engaged in reviewing the curriculum and making improvements, as you can see through the Assessment of Learning Outcomes and Improvement Action Plan. Our faculty is committed to a student-centric, research based teaching philosophy in which the student is not only educated in the discipline of the faculty, but also for responsible citizenship that reflects the values of our College and the ideals of our democracy. We invite you to join us if you are fueled by a desire to explore the world of business. You will be part of a community of learners who are engaged. Our students influence what we do through the Dean’s Student Advisory Group. They participate in service projects as well, and can join numerous student clubs. Don’t hesitate to drop in at anytime if you wish to chat with anyone in the School of Business. Sincerely, Mohamed Latib, Ph.D Professor and Dean
