Accounting

Bachelor and Associate Degree

The primary objective of the Accounting degree is to prepare you for a career in private industry, government, and local or national certified public accounting (CPA) firms. An additional objective is to provide a common body of knowledge in finance, law, management, marketing and computer science.

Early integration of business core courses will increase your awareness of how financial results and business practices are interrelated. You will initially study the principles of accounting from both an investor's and a manager's point of view. These studies will guide you toward an understanding of financial reports and their relationship to the users.
