Natural Science

Associate Degree

The Natural Science degree is a two-year program designed primarily for part-time students who are already working in a science industry (such as pharmaceuticals) and would like to move into a more science-related job. The program is essentially the first two years towards obtaining a bachelor degree in biology.

Graduates of this program are able to apply directly for positions as technicians. However, many local industries offer employee incentives for continuing education, even specifying a sequence of courses required before an employee can upgrade to a specific science department. Many students transfer into the four-year program after achieving an associate degree.
