Student Association of Science (SAS)

The Student Association of Science (SAS) at Gwynedd-Mercy College is an organization established to promote an interest in the sciences throughout the school community. All students pursuing an education in the sciences (example: biology, psychology, mathematics, chemistry, computer sciences and philosophy) are welcome to join the association. Meetings will be held on a regular basis convenient to the students' schedule. One of the obligations of SAS members throughout the year is to orchestrate events that will stir interest in science among fellow students.

Next SAS Meeting

The Student Association of Science is back from vacation! Join them for their first meeting to plan new activities for the fall. Meetings of SAS will be held on Wednesday September 14th at 11:30 AM and Friday September 16th at 4:00 PM, both in Merck Auditorium of Keiss Hall. Attend the one that best fits your schedule; the content of both meetings is the same.

Faculty Lecture Series

SAS will sponsor four lectures by faculty members of Gwynedd-Mercy College during the upcoming academic year.

The first lecture will be "Cosmology: An Amateur's Interpretation" presented by Richard Micklos, M.S. The presentation will be on Wednesday October 26th at 1:30 PM in Room 107 of Keiss Hall.
