Degree Completion for RT(R) Professionals

Are you an RT(R) seeking to obtain a bachelors degree?
            OR…
Are you ARRT Registry eligible?

If you meet one of these qualifications then you may be a candidate for GMC’s BS in Radiologic Technology degree program. 

Degree Completion Details:
What are the requirements for this program? You must be a registered radiographer [RT(R)].

How long will it take to complete this degree? The program could take as short as 1 year or longer depending if it is pursued on a full-time or part-time basis. 

Can I attend part-time?  Yes

Can I attend at night? Yes

What classes will I be taking? You take any remaining general education course work required in order to complete the BS curriculum.  See attached curriculum for specific course work.

What are the benefits of attending this program?  You will graduate with a BS in your professional field. Additionally your courses at GMC will satisfy the required continuing education credits required by the ARRT.

What are the benefits of having a BS in this field/Why would I be interested in getting a higher level degree? With a bachelors degree you will have the opportunity to advance in the field of Radiography.  Administrative positions or positions in sales will be available to you.  Most employers are looking for BSRT graduates to fill upper level positions.  Having the BSRT degree will provide you with many advantages when looking to explore other career avenues.

Will I get credit for my professional experience?  Yes, you can submit your college transcripts to the ARRT to satisfy your continuing education requirements.
