The Bachelor of Health Science Program is a Degree Completion Program especially designed for the working health care professional. The program was started in 1979 and has a long list of successful graduates. Admission is open to those who have an Associate's Degree, or who were trained in an approved hospital - based program, and who have taken and passed a Registry or Licensure examination in their allied health discipline or nursing.

Students may major in a variety of areas depending on their past educational background and area of interest. Areas of specialization include:

  • Management
  • Education
  • Natural Science
  • Behavioral and Social Gerontology

Those open to health care professionals with specific training:

The program may be completed full-time or part-time. The majority of courses are offered day and evening and some courses, particularly those courses in the Health Management area, are offered in the evening in an accelerated format.
