» Mission and Values Committee

The Mission and Values Committee is comprised of members from the student body, faculty, staff, and administration of Gwynedd-Mercy College. The Committee seeks to promote the integration of the mission and values of Gwynedd-Mercy College in all areas of campus culture and to challenge the college community to model effectively Catholic and Mercy identity in the spirit of Catherine McAuley.

The functions of the Committee are:

  • to provide a mission and values component for all orientation programs in collaboration with other appropriate personnel
  • to provide ongoing educative experiences in the mission for all members of the college community in conjunction with other professional/personal development efforts
  • to facilitate an understanding of the Direction Statement of the Sisters of Mercy as they influence the formation of institutional policies and practices
  • to serve as a resource to the College community to clarify Mercy values and the principles of justice.
