» Mercy Volunteer Corps

Mercy Volunteer Corps (MVC), a national and international service program sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy, and housed at Gwynedd Mercy College, invites women and men to compassionate service with people who are economically poor or marginalized in our society. Mercy Volunteer Corps places volunteers at sites within the U.S. for a one year commitment and in sites in Guyana, South America for a two year commitment to serve in education, healthcare, and social services.  Volunteers commit equally to service, a simple lifestyle in community, and personal and communal spiritual growth.
