DUTIES:   Manage the development, usage and security of the web portal, content management system, web applications and middleware for various departments. Responsible for systems integration of the framework and the development of the database and applications. Create online communities and social networking tools for prospective students, current student and institutional advancement in the area of communication, alumni retention and other development efforts.  Assist and collaborate with IT groups for system and user security and privacy.   Work with Director of IT to design and implement security strategies and policies.  Devise and manage the web content management system and digit asset management system using rich media, graphic design.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related technical discipline.

Experience:   2 years experience in a higher education environment in graphic design, rich media, online communities, system integration, database development, applications development and security and user privacy.
