GMC-Warner Robins Presents Scholarships

Mr. Talib Jackson and Ms. Emily Kemp, students at the Warner Robins campus of Georgia Military College, were recently selected Mr. and Ms. GMC-Warner Robins based on their service to the college and their participation in student activities. Each student received a scholarship in the amount of $1,000. Mr. Jackson is studying Logistics Management and serves as Chairman of the Student Honor Council and President of the History Club. He is a member of the Student Government Association and the Dean’s List. Ms. Kemp is studying Biology and serves as President of Phi Theta Kappa. She is on the President’s List, a council member of the Honor Society and Ethics Committee, a biology tutor, anatomy and physiology student peer tutor, member of the Student Government Association and the Biology Club, and a student organizer for the American Red Cross Blood Drive and Toys for Tots. She is also a member of the GMC Relay for Life team. Although this is the first year for the Mr. and Ms. GMC-Warner Robins Scholarship, Mr. Ted Ramsdell, GMC-Warner Robins Director, said he plans for this to be an annual award.
